Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Primary & Trauma Care: Experienced in managing daily primary care, major trauma, and stabilising patients for medical evacuation.

  • Emergency Response: Expert triage and management of multiple casualty situations.

  • Health & Wellness: Proactive management of workforce health to minimise preventable illness, improve well-being, and maximise productivity.

  • HSE Integration: Full alignment with onboard HSE requirements, including water testing and hygiene inspections.

  • Training & Mentoring: Training vessel emergency response teams to ensure adequate response during incidents.

  • Inventory Management: Complete management of medical supplies and equipment inventories.

Clinical Standards

To ensure the highest standard of care, we enforce strict minimum criteria for all deployed personnel. Our professionals meet or exceed international industry standards.

Standard Qualifications Include:

​

  • Experience: Minimum three years’ post-graduate medical experience.

  • Cardiac Care: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/ALS) certification.

  • Trauma Care: ITLS (International Trauma Life Support) or PHTLS (Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support) certification.

  • Fitness to Work: Valid OGUK Certificate of Medical Fitness or equivalent Seafarer medical certificates.

  • Safety Training: Many professionals hold IOSH or NEBOSH certification to complement their medical training.

  • Telemedicine Capable: We utilize systems capable of transmitting patient vital signs (ECG, Blood Pressure, SpO2) directly to onshore physicians for informed decision-making.
